Day #5 – World Environment Day
This is the prompt for day 5, 05-06-2020.
Today's prompt for you is:
It’s World Environment Day. Show what you do when it comes to sustainability.
Today is World Environment Day. A great opportunity to show your guests what you do to help Mother Earth. What things are you doing to be more sustainable?
Maybe you reuse certain items? Or maybe all your furniture is from the secondhand store or thrift shop? What about your food and drinks? Are you partnering with local suppliers? Are you avoiding the use of plastic (as much as you can)?
There are so, so many things we can do to help the environment. And every small effort counts. So even if you and your brand are not big on sustainability, there must be something you’re probably (already) doing which is good for the planet. And who knows: maybe it’s something that’s purely logical for you, but it could inspire others to start doing the same, or take action, too.
- Think about what you do for the environment.
- Take a picture of the subject. Be a bit creative if it's something hard to capture! See the examples at the bottom.
- Make a post on Instagram, write a more elaborate explanation in the caption. You could even challenge someone else to show what they do for the environment as well! Or you could tag your local suppliers, the ones you work with. Et cetera.
- Be sure to use the hashtag #TTC2020. You can ‘use' a hashtag by just putting it into the text that goes along with the photo. If you really want to make sure I see your work, then also tag @trementohospitality.
Don’t forget to also use the hashtag #worldenvironmentday on your post!
As always during this challenge: I'm going to check Instagram all day to see your work! I'll give a comment and a like on the picture and, if I can, give you some feedback via DM. So don't worry; no critique underneath the picture. We hope this challenge helps you with your overall Instagram Marketing (or social media marketing in general).
As you can see underneath, you could also make a graphic to show what you do for the environment. Ideal if you don't have a good picture on hand!
