Share a Memory
Nostalgia is one of the strongest emotions there is.
Dictionary.com describes it as: “a wistful desire to return in thought or in fact to a former time in one's life, to one's home or homeland, or to one's family and friends; a sentimental yearning for the happiness of a former place or time”.
We all have nostalgic feelings every now and then. Memories that make us smile, or emotional – but in a good way. A nostalgic memory can sometimes be sad, but there’s often a sparkle of love in there.
Today, share a memory on your social channels that make you feel nostalgic. First write, then find the image. Use the Spark, Foster, Move writing model to structure your post.
Don’t have a good photo to go along with your text? Can’t find your old photo albums? Don’t stress, you could also just take a postcard and write a few words onto it that have to do something with your memory. Or find an object that has something to do with it. Or it could be a photo someone else took at your place that reminds you of this specific memory. See? Plenty of options!

Happy Fourth of July to all our American friends and customers (and customers who are friends!) ?? Our first trip to the US was 30 years ago when we flew from Japan to meet up with both sets of parents for a 3-week holiday in New England in a 40’ RV (what were we thinking!). ?? We were all sold on The States from that point as we experienced the friendliness, beauty and exhilaration that the country offers, and we have since been back many times for pleasure and business, including two more RV holidays. ?? Wishing you all a wonderful day. Stay safe and well. . . . . . #fourthjuly #julyfourth #fourthofjuly #forthofjuly #starsandstripes #USindependence #USindependenceday #newengland #rvholiday #rvvacation #lovetheusa #familyvacation #familyholiday #familyrvholiday #familyrvgroup #familyrvtrip #familyholiday1990 #inlaws #lowerfieldfarm #lowerfieldfarmbnb @trementohospitality
