Time for a good ol’ Throwback Thursday. Dig up a photo from this time last year – or go back way further. It’s up to you.
Before and after photos (do a carousel post on Instagram) and youth photos often perform very well.
The trick is to find something that will help you to further establish your brand. If you joined the strategy course at the beginning of this month, you should now have a pretty clear view of your brand’s personality, messages, and target audience.
Try to make this Throwback Thursday something that matches that strategy. Let’s say your target audience exists out of outdoor lovers whose kids have left the house. Your brand’s tone of voice is informal, like the one friend at the party who never shuts up talking. Your messages are things like ‘enjoy life while it lasts’.
Then we’d recommend doing a Throwback Thursday with a photo of one of your most memorable hikes, or the first time you went on a specific trail. Don’t worry if you don’t have a photo from that exact same date: you could always note this in the caption.
