We all love to talk about the weather. Whether we’re happy and joyful that the sun is shining, or grumpy because it’s raining too much, or frustrated because it’s too damn hot and humid: there’s always something.
But the forecast post is a great post to use on a frequent basis, especially if you are in a sunny location. For both restaurants and cafés. Why? Because it’s relevant, and people are naturally interested in this information. Even if they are locals.
As a restaurant or café, you can use the forecast post to promote BBQ specials and your outdoor terrace or your garden, or you can use the forecast post to promote your homemade soup, hot chocolate, and cozy indoor seating areas (“perfect to hide from the rain”).
As an accommodation provider, you can use the forecast post to promote activities for travelers for all different kinds of weather. In the case of nice weather, you show them where they can go for a swim, to tan a bit, to enjoy some ice cream and so on. In the case of bad weather, you can show them the museums they can visit, the boardgames you got lying around, the local cinema, et cetera.
