So you are looking for hotel logo inspiration? Then you have come to the right place. I have gathered 5 hotel logos for you that are ticking all the ‘good hotel logo’ boxes. But what are those?
A good hotel logo fits the brand in every way and conveys the style and atmosphere that the hotel breathes. It has to truly represent the hotel’s identity.
Good Logo Checklist
In short, a checklist for a good hotel logo:
- Representative: for the identity and personality of your brand
- Authentic: it shouldn’t be a replication of other logos
- Iconic: you want your logo to have an element that could be used separately, as an icon, and still be recognizable.
- Adaptive: the logo needs to be able to be used in different ways. It should work on Facebook, Instagram, but also on flyers, merchandise and so on.
- Timeless: you don’t want a logo that is just “hip right now”. It should therefore not be based upon a current trend. This links back to point 1 and 2!
Now let’s look at some good logos.
Hotel Logo Inspiration
The first logo I want to share is this one for Kirk Stables – holiday home. The logo features a simple representation of the holiday home itself. What makes this logo good is how the illustration could easily be used separately. Besides that, the illustrative style in combination with the font give us a good idea of what the atmosphere must be like.
The logo seems to communicate the words ‘cosy’, ‘elegant’, ‘classic’ and ‘natural’.
I don’t know if this is an actual hotel or ‘bakehouse’, but I wanted to share this logo because it, again, shows how a simple illustration can work extremely well. This one is quite similar to the previous one but what I like here it the stars and moon in the sky: it instantly communicates to us that this is a place where you can stay overnight.
Again an illustration of the BnB itself, but.. this time put into an emblem / badge. This keeps all elements in the logo well together.
I absolutely adore this one. I don’t think the Nestled Inn is an actual BnB, but what a strong logo: you immediately understand that this is where you want to go if you’re two lovebirds looking for a getaway.
This is my second favorite one in this little list. The hammock aligns perfectly with what any guest would want from a resort: relaxation. A place to chill. And guess what, these are the British Virgin Islands… Any better place for a zen holiday?
Conclusion
We’ve looked at a few good BnB logos and one resort logo. The rules as to what make them strong logos are the same for hotels. A good hotel logo needs to have all the elements named earlier.
